Graduated in Accounting from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (PUC-MG). MBA in Financial Management (UNA-MG). Certified board member by IBGC (Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance). Independent auditor certified in Brazil (CNAI | EQT).
Aquino has more than 30 years of experience, 25 of them in leadership positions such as director, international partner and country managing director, gained at major audit and consulting firms (PwC) and BPO companies, having taken part in audits of large domestic groups and multinational companies operating in various business segments.
He has led several due diligence projects, as well as accounting, financial and tax reviews in mergers and acquisitions processes. Aquino has international experience, having taken part in a 2-year exchange at PwC UK – London, developing and implementing BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) projects for various international conglomerates (i.e. British Petroleum, Delta Airlines, ELF).
At Aurius, Aquino works as a partner on audit and accounting consulting engagements, in addition to supporting BPO engagements.
